Dr. Andrea Berger - Veterinarian

Dr. Andrea Berger was born and raised just outside of Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Berger graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and specializes in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and acupuncture utilizing both Eastern & Western medicine. Dr. Berger has spent the last 13 years practicing in San Jose, CA. For eight of those thirteen years, she worked as a shelter veterinarian in the first certified model shelter in the country. She has practiced on 3 continents: Thailand, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, Romania and Bosnia Herzegovina.

Dr. Berger enjoys crocheting and spending time with her family: her husband, a middle school teacher, and her daughter, a current kindergartner and future astronaut veterinarian. In their free time, they enjoy exploring southern food culture, traveling, reading, and going to the beach.

Dr. Berger is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and is a board member of the California Desert Tortoise Conservancy.
