What are we doing here at MAC to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
Staff washes hands hourly and after every interaction with clients & patients. Wash for a full 20 seconds using soap and water.
Each exam room is cleaned between every appointment with bleach solution or Rescue Cleaner.
Clean workstations (keyboards, phones, mice) three times a day.
No clients will be allowed inside building except for euthanasias. During this time, staff will ensure six feet of distance at all times.
Segregate areas for exams, work in teams to minimize situations where staff is in closer proximity than six feet.
Use latex gloves when taking trash, wash hands after removing gloves.
Masks are to be worn at all times when interacting with clients. If inside the hospital, masks will be worn if staff cannot maintain 6 feet of distance.
Mid-day and at end of day, hospital is mopped with hospital-grade disinfectant.
In addition to washing hands hourly, hands need to be washed after any of these situations/interactions occur:
After blowing one’s nose, coughing, or sneezing.
